We Are A Creative Nation

Expanding upon the preceding theme of the PCIM, which emphasized “Celebrating Filipino Creativity and Advancing Creative Philippines”, the theme for PCIM 2024 serves as a bold declaration that the Philippines is indeed a bastion of creativity. 

The creative sector is not just a cultural asset but a formidable economic engine as well. Statistics from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) underscore this fact: in 2022 alone, the creative economy surged to a staggering P1.60 trillion, contributing a substantial 7.3% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) while providing gainful employment to approximately seven million Filipinos.
